Top Trainer Picks / by plasticloafer

Over the past few months I have grown a tiny obsession with trainers, or sneakers if you are from the other side of the atlantic. After a couple of years of wearing chelsea boots and loafers, my feet deserve some comfort. I still wear the occasional boot but walking in trainers is honestly like walking on a cloud.

Today, I have five of my current favourites to share with you all. Some are old and one hasn't even been worn yet!

Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Triple Red - £150

Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Navy - £129

Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Green - £129

The first three pairs are all Adidas Uncaged Ultra boost. They are like the normal Ultra boost trainers but they don't have the ribs on the side of the shoe which for me makes them extra comfy. The navy and the green will be perfect for the coming fall and look great with a pair of black skinny jeans. I haven't worn the reds yet, to be honest they are still in the box in my wardrobe but I still really love the look of them. The material is a 'Prime knit' which Adidas uses for their limited edition shoes and it is so much nicer than the normal nylon upper part on most trainers.

Nike Air Max 90 'Patch Collection' Tan - £150

As you can probably tell from the photograph, these trainers have been word 'quite' a few times, I absolutely adore them. They are perfect to throw on to run some errands and can be worn to complete a tan outfit. When they released they had three colour-ways; black, khaki green and tan. Looking back I wish I had purchased all three but the tan stood out for me the most. They came with a selection of velcro patches to customise them yourself but honestly I just prefer them as they are.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Pirate Black - £150

This pair have their own post on my blog, in which I detail the struggle it was to get these trainers. So having had them for just over a year now, I can safely say that it was a fantastic buy. I have obviously tried to get each pair in the other colour ways but I have not been successful, which makes the 'Pirate Blacks' really special to me. I believe that Yeezy season is drawing closer and they will be releasing a new style of shoe in the coming weeks. So let me know if you manage to grab a pair, as I will be on my little macbook again at 8 a.m. Pray for me.
